Video Ideas

1) I think that I could produce a great video story on Cedar’s Restaurant on Brooklyn and 50th Street. I am a regular customer and believe that I could get some great interviews from the owners, waiters, and chefs. I would ask about their culture and how it is represented in the restaurant. Additionally, I would ask how their business is surviving in the economy. I think that a video would be particularly effective because I could get different shots of the chefs preparing food, the waiters serving, and close-ups on the interview. Finally, I believe that this video would produce interesting footage.

2) I believe that it could be interesting to produce a video covering a night in the news room at The Daily. I could get interviews from the different writers and editors making deadline. I also could get wideshots of the news room as deadline nears. I think that this could reveal some interesting content while stress levels are high. This room also has a lot of history with the quotes on the wall, making for some great shots.
